International Joke Off

International Joke Off

On Tuesday, 19th March, Sean is performing in the International Joke Off.

The International Joke Off Show

The brainchild of Kiwi comedian Richard Lindesay, the International Joke Off was conceived and performed in the UK last year while Richard was living and performing there.

The UK shows (with UK comedian Alf as Richard’s competitor) were extremely popular with sold out shows all over, including at the Leicester Comedy Festival.

The Sydney show on 19th March is hosted by popular UK comedian Emma Malik, and the format of the show is three rounds of joke competition.

One round will be Richard and Sean performing jokes suggested by the public on the Joke Off’s Facebook Page in the week before the competition.

Another round will be Richard and Sean each performing their ‘normal’ stand-up comedy.

The most challenging round will be Richard and Sean writing and performing jokes written on the night in response to topics called out by audience members.

The audience will vote on who ‘won’ each round and the best-of-three winner will be acknowledged as the International Joke Off Winner!

Well, perhaps the audience will be the winner as tickets to this comedy treat are only $10!
